A funeral service is an opportunity to give thanks for the life of a loved one, for family and friends to come together to support one another in their grief, and to commend the deceased into God’s keeping. It can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church, and may precede or follow a service of cremation.
If you have experienced a bereavement you are welcome to contact us to discuss the possibility of a funeral service in either of our churches. St Michael’s church yard is open for interments of those who have been resident in the parish or have another close connection.
