A bear hunt in Birmingham
We have a team from St Andrews visiting IcFEM in Western Kenya from 17th July – 1st August. Whilst there the team hope to support the mission according to the mission’s needs and their own individual experience and interests.
Today they are asking for our prayer support and financial support towards the various activities they will be involved in. As a group each member has paid over £1000 for their visit to IcFEM mission. They could do with our financial support to fund resources for their activities whilst they are there.Where possible the majority of resources will be bought from the local shops – its makes travel lighter and supports the local economy too. If you would like to give a donation towards the resources please pop your donation in an envelope marked ‘Kenya Trip’. Thank you.
A collection of 14 watercolour illustrations by Jenny Hawke invites us to pause, remember and reflect on the Easter Story. Each print is accompanied by an explanation from the artist regarding choice of colour and the inspiration behind it. Hosted in shop windows the trail begins at Barnt Green Travel Lounge and heads along Hewell Road, crossing to Yen’s Hair Salon and returning along Hewell Road finishing at St Andrew’s Church. How about inviting a friend to join you and end with a coffee? Kids are welcome to take part too and can collect a trail sheet from Barnt Green Travel Lounge. So why not invite a couple of families to join you?
